Jonny Drama aka Dr Rhythm ... ok take a big breath... 

 Tv host, current DJ and MC for the Brisbane Bullets Basketball Team and Eat Street Northshore, former Co Host of ABC3’s kids show ‘What do you know?’, hero role in Peters Ice Cream commercials on Channel [V], stand out act on Australia’s Got Talent , former London Beatbox Champ and he is an internationally, multi award winning street performer, versatile voice over artist and energetic festival / stage MC + DJ and Beatboxer for corporate events around the country. Jonny has a reputation for being the man that can and will do anything, so trying to pigeonhole exactly what he can do is tricky, because he does it all!

TV 

Took a huge chance beatboxing on Australia's Got Talent over 10 years ago which launched his career.

2011 Dr Rhythm worked alongside Ambience Entertainment, transforming him into the improvisational and legendary co-host of children's Television show “What Do You Know?” on ABC3. After filming 65 episodes, the producer quoted him as “an outstanding performer who brings fresh, original and hilarious ideas to a project”. This also got him the lead role of Spongo in the new kids 2019 animation, Spongo Fuzz and Jalapena on ABCme.

This relationship with Ambience also lead to guest appearance’s on the kids game show ‘Pyramid’ which was alongside David Collins from the Umbilical Brothers.  Flashback to 2013, he had a hero role and a heavy creative involvement in the acappella commercial for Drumstick Ice Creams. Working alongside Publisis Mojo he led and worked with two vocalists in 9 commercials which aired on Channel [V] and virally.

BEATBOX 

Now I guess you'd call him an "OG' beatboxer, he won the London Beatbox Champs in 2006 and has entered various comps throughout Australia and New Zealand. His A.G.T appearance opened many doors and built his reputation to lead him to him touring internationally for 4 years in theatre shows with Raw Dance Company on 42nd st, guest appearance on BrainBuzz Tv show and beatboxed to 37,000 people at the Brisbane Lion’s crowd at the Gabba.

These days you'll find him on the other side of the mic judging Brisbane beatbox battles.

MC 

For the last 14 years Jonny has been building up his client base with his growing family of companies he works along side.

These include Gold Coast Marathon, NBL, Gold Coast Griffith Uni, Red Bull, Foot Locker and Westfield. In 2015 he toured nationally with The Color Run and the team at R.O.C Race. He has been quoted as "Australia's hardest working MC",  

Jonny has held audiences in the palm of his hands at Launch of the Commonwealth Games,  Dream world, hosted the Young Retailer of the Year awards, ​and corporate affairs for world renowned brands such as Telstra, Westfield, Virgin and Foot Locker. Red Bull refer to him as “our go to guy for hosting all of our events.

DRUMS 

As well has hosting multiple events weekly he is also a drummer and had an incredible 10 year residency at the famous

"Beach Hotel" in Byron Bay with his DrumDJ show "Rhythm and Cutloose." They supported De La Soul , Portugal the Man and played various festivals and clubs around Australia. In 2016 he was summoned by the world famous fellow beatboxer Tom Thum, to take to the drums on his project  "Thum Kit" which was performed twice for two huge internationally broadcast Youtube Events, and a Youtube recording with Australia's newest songstress, Montainge.

DJ 

It was a long time coming but in 2013 the Drama took to the decks Djing at private functions and clubs.

He is now the official Dj for heavy weights companies and events, such as the official DJ for the Brisbane Bullets, Eat Street Northshore, Youfoodz, KFC, and toured the final national Big Day Out circuit with Red Bull. His DJ style is throw back hiphop and baby makin RNB, then throw in 15 years plus of MC experience, mcing along side international DJ's and Australia's finest.

The list just goes on an on, and this just demonstrates his musical/ entertainment versatility and why he’s in high demand.

As an experienced entertainer he can keep people in their seats or make them go crazy on the dance floor.

With a mic in one hand and the crowd in the other, it’s the Doctor who has the prescription..
